Hello – we are thrilled that you are interested in becoming a NCF Volunteer.
Volunteering with the Northern Cleft Foundation provides a great opportunity to work in a committed team, delivering high quality care to underprivileged children in India. It enables you to experience a different health care system whilst working alongside highly skilled professionals from the NHS.
NCF holds outreaches annually – the next is scheduled for January 2018 in Nagpur, India*.
Who can volunteer?
Our team of volunteers is made up fantastically skilled medical professionals and general volunteers including:
Surgeons • Anaesthetists • Consultants • SpRs • Surgical SpRs • Scrub nurses • Recovery nurses • Ward nurses • Anaesthetic nurses • Medical Students • Dental Students
You must be at least 18 years of age at the anticipated time of travel.
What costs are involved?
It costs £1500 to participate in the outreach. This amount covers hotel, flight and administrative fees for each individual. If you need help we can advise you on how this money can be raised.
